MARKET INSIGHT
Oregon's Environmental Quality Commission adopted the Clean Truck Rules in November 2021, requiring medium- and heavy-duty vehicle manufacturers to sell an increasing percentage of zero-emission vehicles starting with the 2025 model year. The rules include two main components: the Advanced Clean Trucks rule which establishes sales requirements for zero-emission vehicles, and the Low NOx Omnibus rule which focuses on lowering emission standards for conventional fueled engines.
